Dieter C. Söhner
Dieter C. Söhner studied at the universities of Berne, Geneva and Pittsburgh (USA). For more than 6 years he has been active as a lawyer in the field of financial intermediaries. From 2001 to 2006 he was a senior officer at the Swiss Federal Banking Commission (SFBC) (today Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA) in the Department of Approvals (Banks) / Collective Investment Schemes.
During this time, he specialised in the field of international wealth management and completed an MBA (Geneva University) as well as an Executive MBA (Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh). Until July 2007 he headed up the Legal & Regulatory Department of a large financial services consultancy. He is a member of the executive management of pfi partners for financial intermediaries AG in Siebnen, canton Schwyz, since August 2007.
